The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Wallpapers

To compliment my Top 10 Favourite Anime, I figure I should do a Bottom 10, the 10 series or movies that I hate most. Instead of milking this one though I'll just do all 10 at once, enjoy.

Number 10 – Lucky Star

Plot Synopsis: Portrays the lives of several school girls attending a Japanese high school with a very loose humor tone. The main heroine is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent girl who, despite these attributes, is not in a sports club, and her grades remain low. Her laziness at school is due to her love for anime and video games, and she is not interested in much else.

Why I hate it: I never really got why this series is loved as much as it is. It's not funny, it's not entertaining at all, and it's just ugly to look at. The entire series is just one lame unfunny otaku joke after another, with excruciatingly boring segments in between. Almost everything about this series panders to the otaku; nearly all of the terrible jokes centre around the otaku main character and can only be appreciated by otaku. Hell, that otaku main character is a flat chested girl, I'm pretty sure that's every otaku's wet dream or something. The only really good part of the series is when it references The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, allowing us to reminisce, if only for a few brief seconds, about a series that doesn't suck.

Number 9 – Lucky Star
